Bloody Valentine - Feminine Hygiene Product Fundraiser
A Chicago-based fundraiser initiated by Cindy Juhasz to redefine a dark moment in Chicago’s history into a movement that lifts the community up.
Period Poverty is described as a woman’s’ lack of ability to properly care for their menstruation, being forced to use unsanitary and harmful methods to resolve it. Period Poverty isn’t even exclusive to underprivileged individuals. So, we decided to alleviate some pressure and show some love by raising money for care packages that contain feminine hygiene products.
100% of proceeds goes towards these care packages and we are currently hand delivering them to Cornerstone Community Outreach and Northwest Compass, Inc. in Chicago and Mount Prospect, respectively.
Although this fundraiser is held in February, Period Poverty is an ongoing issue. If you feel compassion for this cause and would like to donate, we will always appreciate it, small or large!
